Olivier was the first investor in 2Shores. Over 25 years experience as a successful entrepreneur in technology, hospitality, manufacturing and service industries. Olivier brings his experience as a founder, executive, and board member to Canadian and American private and public companies to source new opportunities and develop 2Shores’ ‘private family office platform’.
Over 20 years experience in capital financing, focusing on debt instruments across the credit spectrum: bonds, debentures, asset backed securities, securitized products and loans of every stripe. Previous roles include Managing Director and Head of Financing at Aquilini Investment Group in Vancouver, Debt Syndication at HSBC Securities in Toronto, and Leveraged Finance at Barclays Capital in London and New York.
Former Founding Partner at JJR Private Capital – Toronto / Miami based merchant bank focused on M&A, growth financing and recapitalizations, LBOs and high yield debt, and CEO of TEREI International Limited, a private merchant bank focused on debt and equity opportunities in the small- to mid-cap markets in the Americas. Prior to his private investing career, Kevin was a senior executive, with 25 years of operating experience in Fortune 500 companies throughout North and South America, including serving as the President and General Manager of Nortel Caribbean, Latin America, and Brazil. Kevin currently sits as a director on a number of public company boards in Canada and the US.
Over 2 years of financial experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, and investor relations. Gained practical experience at Florida International University’s Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), leading sector teams and participating in fund performance analysis and reporting.
Joined 2Shores Capital in May 2024, focusing on creating marketing materials, maintaining the investor database, assisting with investor reporting, and supporting deal and fund documentation.
Holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, an International Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University.
Lena Masters, CPA – a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years of experience in financial transactions and reporting, held multiple C-Level positions with various public and private entities, including private equity and credit funds with capitalization over $500m JJR Private Capital and Windsor Private Capital, specializing in mezzanine and bridge financing, M&A, leveraged buy-outs, recapitalizations and equity capital, with the focus on the capital markets in Canada and the United States.
Over 13 years of experience in corporate finance working for diverse industry companies including Technology, Petrochemical, Construction and Financial Services. Proven record of implementing strong financial controls and delivering quantifiable profitability. Previously held positions as Controller and Director of Finance leading all financial functions and reporting activities.
